From the skies of history to your dog's neck: the paracord revolution

A cord born to save human lives

Paracord (short for parachute cord) didn't start out as a fashion accessory. It was designed in the United States during World War II as an ultra-resistant cord for soldiers' parachutes.

In those extreme conditions, the military needed a material that was incredibly lightweight and flexible, yet indestructible. "Paracord 550" passed every test, proving it could hold up to 550 pounds of tension (about 249 kg) with a diameter of just 4 millimeters.

After the war, veterans and hiking enthusiasts began taking it into the woods with them, weaving it into emergency survival bracelets.

Around the early 2000s, hikers and dog trainers in North America and Northern Europe had an intuition: if this material is so reliable in extreme conditions, why not use it for our dogs' safety?

That is how the first paracord collars were born: rugged, robust, and designed for working dogs facing mud, water, and briars. The success was immediate. Dog owners tired of dealing with wet, frayed, or foul-smelling collars found the ultimate solution in paracord.

I took this material with its extraordinary technical properties and transformed it into a tailored design accessory.

Here is why paracord is the best choice for your dog:

  • Absolute Resistance: It doesn't break, it doesn't fray, and it withstands even the strongest pulling forces from the most vigorous dogs.

  • Hygiene and Water Repellency: It doesn't absorb moisture and dries in a flash. This means it won't rot and doesn't trap bad odors.

  • Endless Style: The availability of colors allows me to create unique combinations capable of reflecting the personality of each dog and their human.

Choosing HMR means putting a piece of history around your four-legged companion's neck, handcrafted with ultimate precision to guarantee safety, comfort, and unique style.
